We may not hear as much about the powerful and glorious nature of wallpaper as we did a couple of decades a go, but that does not mean that he amazing designs have lost their beauty. While it may not be as popular to put wallpaper up throughout a house these days, a roll of this decorative paper can be used in other ways to beautify your home.
In fact it can be a godsend when you are looking to conceal a scratched, or otherwise damaged tabletop. Apply a coordinating printed wallpaper scrap to the entire top of this piece, or even cut out sections and scatter them across it. After it has been affixed to it with glue, spray a sealant over the top for a finished appearance.
Another wonderful use for bold, or sweetly patterned wallpaper is to line linen drawers and the walls of wardrobes. When the drawers or doors are swung open the pop of color will offer a charming surprise. Not to mention the fact that the paper will establish dimension that was not previously there in that space.
I could go on and on with the many ideas for using wallpaper, but I will leave you with this one which I adore. Wallpaper remnants are simply perfect for bordering artworks. Line photographs, children’s paintings, or enchanting poems in calligraphy with bits collected from craft supply stores, or even found by chance in your grandparents attic.
